Charles Harold Rittenhouse - born in Lynedoch, Ontario (Lynedoch is situated between Tillsonburg and Simcoe)
Gertrude Burtch - born in Rockway, Ontario (Rockway is on the Niagara Escarpment, approx. 10 miles west of St. Catharines.

A Little About Me:
Spent several summers working at the Vineland Experimental Farm helping fund her years at Brock University earning a teacher's certificate and her Honour's degree in English.

Has taught at the Rose Seaton School in Fort Erie, Richmond Street School in Thorold, and Pelham Center School in the Town of Pelham

Parents:
Rev. Jacob K. Janzen - born in Russia and emigrated to Canada in 1926. Katharine Quiring - born in South Russia and emigrated to Canada in 1926.

A Little About Me:
Attended Hamilton Normal School (thought it rather "abnormal" at the time) earning a Teacher's Certificate, Attended McMaster University and University of Toronto.

Taught in two rural schools in the Township of Wainfleet, Ontario and five schools in the county of Wentworth, Ontario.

Retired from teaching in 1985
